The biggest complaint we hear from buyers about winter gloves is simple: "They are warm, but I can't use my hands."
Thick
insulation is cheap and easy. But creating a glove that keeps hands
warm at -10°C while allowing the user to zip a jacket or operate a tool?
That requires engineering.
As we prepare prototypes for the 2026 season, here is how Chinabase Trade is solving the bulk issue without sacrificing warmth.
1. Compressed Insulation Technology We have moved away from standard high-loft polyester batting for our
premium lines. It creates too much volume. Instead, we are utilizing
compressed micro-fiber insulation.
.The Benefit:
It traps heat efficiently in a much thinner profile. This allows us to
cut the glove pattern tighter to the hand, giving your customers better
grip and control.
2. The "Bonded" Liner Difference There is nothing
worse than pulling off a wet glove and having the lining come out with
your hand.
.Our Fix: We use a specialized
adhesive spot-bonding technique at the fingertips and palm. This locks
the waterproof membrane and the inner fleece liner together. It takes
more time on the production floor, but it drastically reduces product
returns.
3. Touchscreen: It Needs to Be 360° Sewing a patch on the index finger is the old way. It looks cheap and often fails after a few washes.
.The
Upgrade: For our 2026 orders, we recommend using conductive PU leather
that wraps the entire fingertip, or integrating conductive yarn directly
into the knit structure. It works better, lasts longer, and looks
cleaner.
4. Waterproofing that Breathes A
plastic bag is waterproof, but it makes your hands sweat. We use TPU
inserts that balance water resistance (10,000mm) with moisture wicking.
This keeps the inside of the glove dry, which is actually the key to
staying warm.
